Passionate about South African craft and inspired by a vision for creating sustainable employment, ISIMO began in 2006 - selling items from a single supplier.

In 2009, we increased our portfolio to several different suppliers and the response from our audience has been overwhelmingly positive with much interest in the contemporary beauty and quality of our work.

ISIMO carefully select and establish direct relationships with each of our artists. We insure they are paid a fair wage and where possible, encourage them to employ individuals from the community - addressing the real issues of social upliftment and empowerment.

We assist with the production and design of many of our products, sourcing and marketing the best of South African craft for both international markets and more recently local game lodges & boutique hotels.
